Letizia from Spain once again queen of style. The Spanish sovereign, invited to Madrid to National Cultural Media Awardshits the mark with a white dress with openwork details: a look intended, of course, to create a trend.
Letizia’s white openwork dress from Spain
Letizia of Spain never misses an opportunity to remind people that she is one of the most elegant queens of the Old Continent. Arrived in Madrid with King Felipe to participate in the National Cultural Media Awards, the former journalist sported a set of good touch of toneperfect for a cool early fall evening.
In fact, Letizia wore a Cream crepe midi dress characterized by openwork lace sleeves and skirt hem. A garment that, in its simplicity, the Queen tried to enhance with silver accessories: in addition to the essential clutch, it is worth mentioning the Magrit slingbacks with kitten heels, the low, thin heel that has come back into fashion with force in recent months.
The jewelry? A few teardrop diamond earrings perfectly highlighted by the lob, the square on the shoulders that for the occasion the Reina chose to leave as smooth as ever. Finally the makeup, in brown and pink tones to give a fresher and younger touch to the whole thing. In short, once again Letizia has managed to perfectly combine elegance and naturalness, without making a mistake.
The outfit chosen by Felipe, however, is decidedly different, because unlike his wife, he focused on dark shades: black pinstriped suit, white shirt and blue tie for the sovereign who, let’s admit it, may have spoiled the colors a little.
Letizia, godmother of Spanish culture
The Madrid event in which Letizia participated has a very particular value for her: the National Cultural Media Awards in fact aim to promote cultural activitiesand to reward workers in the sector. The participation of the queen, who worked as a journalist before meeting Felipe, is therefore not surprising.
The award ceremony took place at the National Museum of Art Queen Sofia, in the presence of various notable personalities: the prize, in fact, is awarded each year to those who, through their work or their active participation in the artistic and literary fields, contribute to the cultural wealth of Spain. The categories are numerous and include pictorial arts, cinema and audiovisual, reading books and letters, music and performing arts. There are also sectors that seek to highlight the country’s cultural heritage, notably bullfights which, despite the protests of many organizations, continue to take place in several Spanish cities.
Letizia participated in the Cultural Media Awards with Felipe, but this is not the only event on the Queen’s agenda, which seems to have a quite a busy autumn. At the end of September she arrived in Italy for World Cancer Research Day, dressed in red, while for the inauguration of the Teatro Real she surprised everyone by wearing an inexpensive black dress. What does La Reina have in store for us in the coming months?
